You will absolutely find this fascinating: Soup day.

I made soup yesterday out of everything in the refrigerator that looked like noone was going to eat it.
The soup ended up having: Egg noodles, rice noodles, white rice, short grain brown rice, half a jar of spaghetti sauce a bag of mixed vegetables a can of cream of potato soup, a bag of 16 bean mix (lol) and a bunch of odds and ends like hot sauce and salt and beef stock powder... It is filling and the hot sauce covers up the fact that there are like 29 conflicting flavors.
